Wilderland has two websites, one always-on, higher resolution website that is heavier to run, and one experimental, situated site, that is solar powered, and in the Nephin Park

The solar site might not always be on or available, it also has other quirks, and will be slower. Adjust your expectactions for this Permacomputing + Small Web alternative.

The Role of Creatives in the Climate Emergency - Panel Discussion

DATE: 11 Sep, 2025
TIME: 04:00 PM - 07:15 PM
all times are in Irish time unless noted otherwise

Wilderland is joining the Galway Climate Inspirations Festival for a panel discussion on the role of creatives in the climate emergency.

Join Wilderland artist Elaine Harrington, the Immersion project and some of our fellow Creative Climate Action Fund projects for an afternoon of insightful discussions and networking opportunities focused on creative approaches to climate action.

This panel features experts from across the West of Ireland - from academia, environmental conservation, arts and real-world creative climate action. They’ll be discussing approaches to engage with society in a meaningful way, sharing knowledge and experiences, and offering valuable insights on creative climate action.

This event is aimed at those interested in the areas of climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental degradation - from research to community activism - and hopes to shine a light on a more sustainable path forward for the region.

Book your place to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations passionate about making a positive impact on our planet.
